Finca El Laurel is a 12-hectare farm that serves as both a home to the Ramirez family and a diverse natural habitat. Coffee, primarily of the parainema variety, is grown across 8.5 hectares alongside plum, avocado, and sugar plum trees. The farm is rich with wildlife such as armadillos, squirrels, agoutis, rabbits and cats. It also has a natural stream and rock caves, where farm workers often rest during breaks.
